Building pathways to stable housing through compassionate community solutions.
Supporting our neighbors with dignified shelter options when they need it most.
In partnership with St Luke's Eiscopal Church, the Sequim Health and Housing Collaboration, and with special supports from the Sequim Food Bank, OlyCAP operates a warming center from November through March. Our Shelter Manager monitors the weather and if temperatures are predicted to fall to 36 degrees fahrenheit or below during the night, the warming center will reach out to area partners and post information on social media that the warming center will be opening. During severe weather conditions during that time, OlyCAP may also open the center as needed.
Hours when open: 9PM – 7AM
Where: St Luke’s Episcopal,
525 N. 5th Ave, Sequim, WA
Additional days open:
Thanksgiving
Eve into Thanksgiving Morning
Christmas Eve into Christmas Morning
New Years Eve into New Years Morning
If the Warming Center is open on a Saturday night it will also open the following Sunday night.

Caswell-Brown Village (CBV) is an original concept open air shelter.
Thanks to collaborative efforts with Jefferson County and the dedicated
people of Community Build this transitional emergency housing provides
20 units of emergency tiny shelters and 20 RV safe camping spaces.
All have access to bathroom facilities, a mobile shower trailer,
and communal cooking space.
OlyCAP staff monitor the grounds
24/7 this includes 4 resident monitors hired from the CBV residents
and trained in state-of-the-art Crisis De-escalation techniques.
CBV is set up for self-governance through an established Resident
Council who meet with the Housing Director and Shelter Management
monthly to discuss priorities and needs. Plans are underway to expand
this model to include a brick-and-mortar emergency shelter and permanent
supportive housing.
Work is underway to replace the mobile shower trailer with a permanent shower and laundry structure as well as a common indoor kitchenette and meeting space where residents can hold meetings, store site donations, and meet confidentially with service providers.
Eligible residents would be households currently sheltering outside or in otherwise uninhabitable conditions or circumstances. Households applying for placement are prioritized to the highest need.
If interested in applying for residence at Caswell-Brown Village please contact Coordinated Entry at our Housing Resource office.
